At Travelling Natural History, we have a massive range of animatronic walking dinosaurs, giant movie quality props (dinosaurs, marine animals, artic animals, and jungle animals), a superb collection of all types of fossils. We also have a zoo of live reptiles, including our very own Giant African Tortoise. All of these are accompanied by our Natural History expert presenters, bespoke curriculum, which is directly linked with the National Curriculum, and associated hands-on activities. We have combined these to create an immersive, interactive, and engaging E-learning programme that can be accessed by pupils learning from home in a virtual classroom setting. Our interactive workshops include:
Year 1 - Carnivores vs herbivores
National Curriculum Objective:
Animals, Inc humans - identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.
Year 2 - Living, dead or never alive

Year 3 - Rocks and fossils

The workshop brought to life concepts we had been learning like ‘herbivores’ and ‘carnivores’. The experiments and demonstrations were engaging. The workshop activities had been organised with Early Years in mind and the children had lots of fun.
